' I Miss You ' article in Chinese mag ~^^*

”I Miss You”, In the Sad Autumn Times

Howling autumn winds, drifting fallen leaves, the aura of sadness is spreading. Who are you missing? This is the positioning of the newest Korean MBC drama, “I Miss You”, in which Park Yoochun and Yoon

Eun Hye play the lead roles. “I Miss You” will be the drama that takes over “Arang and the Magistrate” starting October 31st (which has later been confirmed to start in November 7th). This time, Koreans are done with time travel, comedy and Gangnam style, they are returning to the traditional romantic drama!

“I Miss You”, The Reappearance of Korean-style Sadness

The evolution of Korean drama began with the early “Winter Sonata” sadness, the middle “Full House” cheerfulness, and to the recent “Rooftop Prince” time travel. Just as the audience thought that according to past trends Korean drama will continue with the theme of time travel, it reverts back to the traditional sad romance drama, and thus the birth of the autumn drama “I Miss You”.

The story of “I Miss You” is very ‘Korean’ as always: A couple, with moving first-love memories back when they were 15, meets after they had grown up and the stories that unfolds due to it. The screenwriter Moon Heejung, who wrote “Smile, You” and “Listen to My Heart”, is collaborating with director Lee Jaedong who directed “Thank You”. Park Yoochun and Yoon Eun Hye are playing the adult version of this pure love couple – Detective Han Jungwoo who lives life while carrying memories for his first love and fashion designer Lee Sooyeon who though looks glamorous on surface, live from day to day with pain that others do not know. And the actor and actress that play the 15-years-old couple are Yeo Jingoo and Kim SooHyun, both known through “The Moon that Embraces the Sun”. In addition, Park Yoochun’s management company, C-Jes, has another actress, Jang Miinae, taking part in “I Miss You”, in which she will be playing the online manga artist Kim Eunjoo who secretly has a crush on Park Yoochun. Other than that, “I Miss You” has experience actors and actresses such as Jeon Gwangryeol and Do Jiwon, making the star-filled cast even more bling-bling.
In the most recently revealed still cuts, Han Jungwoo and Lee Sooyeon’s sad expressions in their eyes are curious. Even though this is the first time that they are working together, the first scene they shot was this helpless yet unable to look each other in the eye moment. Yoochun, who put on a more mature outfit and hairstyle, takes on a very different image from his previous works “Rooftop Prince” and “Miss Ripley”, while Yoon Eun Hye’s role continues to be glamorous. Of course, this is just the beginning, please expect the changes and counteroffensives of the fashionable Yoon Eun Hye.

Actor Park Yoochun Continues to Work With “Daebak Girl”

Park Yoochun’s amazing success in the television industry does not need many words to describe; we only have to bring up his iconic works. Let’s not talking about “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” or “Miss Ripley”, but just his most recent work, “Rooftop Prince”, already took home the three biggest awards of the 2012 Seoul International Drama Awards: Best Korean Drama, Outstanding Korean Actor and Outstanding Korean Actress. The actress Han Ji Min who he worked with, was praised “daebak” by Park Yoochun – this is the first time that Yoochun ever praised an actress like this after he began acting: “She is the best girl I’ve ever met. Even though we had only spent four months together, but it seems like we’ve known each other for ten years.” This couple of Park Yoochun and Han Ji Min naturally became the unparalleled “best couple” in fans’ hearts.

Consider Yoochun’s recent popularity and influence, “I Miss You” chose him as lead actor early on. However, attempting to find the actress who can continue the “Daebak Girl” legacy took a lot of effort; and in the end, it changed from Son YeJin to Yoon Eun Hye. Thankfully, Yoon Eun Hye and Park Yoochun are similar in age and had known each other beforehand since they once appeared in variety show “X-Man” together. Therefore, this couple is certainly worth following and waiting for.
